Marketing Coordinator

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, we are seeking a proactive, energetic, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the seamless execution of diverse marketing initiatives, including the coordination of tradeshows and other events, essential market research, engaging social media content creation and monitoring, comprehensive reporting, and precise database management. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates shortform content for social media posts across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms
  • Monitors social media engagement, responds to comments, and tracks social media metrics
  • Collaborates with other marketing team members to align social media efforts with broader campaigns
  • Assists in preparing dashboards and KPI summaries for internal teams
  • Tracks tradeshow budgets/costs, ROI and post-event performance
  • Triages incoming requests from within the company for assignment to the appropriate team member
  • Processes invoices and tracks marketing expenses
  • Updates the marketing asset library on the company intranet
  • Liaises with other departments on their Intranet updates and requirements
  • Maintains the marketing team task planning tool (Monday.com) to ensure timely completion of team tasks
  • Assists with database and market research projects
  • Assists with tradeshow logistics, shipping, and booth coordination
  • Assists with our annual Sales Conference
  • Coordinates with vendors, internal stakeholders, and sales teams
  • Assists in the tracking of promotional materials and event assets
  • Assists in preparing dashboards and KPI summaries for internal teams

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in a marketing coordinator or similar support role, with B2B experience highly preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency with key marketing tools such as HubSpot, CRM systems, and design platforms like Canva, along with a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
  • A curious, energetic mindset with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and contribute.
  • A willingness to embrace and live the core values of Network Innovations.

Working Conditions

This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Standard office hours are 8am to 5pm, however, work outside of regular office hours and occasional travel may be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and software.

  • The ability to use hands to manage and control a keyboard and mouse.
  • The ability to understand and communicate clearly with others through speaking, listening, or writing.
