Inside Sales Representative

Job Purpose

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from responding to inquiries and generating new business to entering sales orders and coordinating with our activations team. You’ll work closely with clients to identify solutions that meet their needs while driving revenue through renewals and upselling. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for technology and customer engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and CRM. Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts to build relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, including calls, emails, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Qualify leads, assess customer needs, and recommend products or service solutions. Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and pricing options, following up to close sales.
  • Independently enter and manage sales orders. Collaborate with the activations team for provisioning to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Nurture and grow revenue within existing accounts through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling. Educate customers on service plans, pricing, and value-added features.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and pipeline activity within CRM systems. Follow established workflows, including ticketing and case management systems.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets, KPIs, and activity metrics. Monitor account activity to identify risks and maximize customer retention.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues by coordinating with internal teams. Participate in sales meetings, training, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed on product updates, pricing changes, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales or customer-facing experience (telecom industry preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in professional English with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications products such as voice, data, satellite, and wireless.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive, team-focused approach to problem-solving.

Working Conditions

This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Standard office hours are 8am to 5pm, however, work outside of regular office hours and occasional travel will be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and software.
