Parts Driver/Warehouse
Job purpose
The Parts Driver is responsible for making local deliveries to our technicians at customer sites.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver products to local technicians working on commercial fishing and tugboats.
- Maintain good customer relations during deliveries and pickups.
- Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle. Company will provide a company vehicle to drive during the work-day for deliveries.
- Operate a forklift.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Drivers license with ability to drive a company vehicle every day. Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Be able to lift wire spools, which may be up to 70 lbs. and are sometimes awkward.
- Help where needed. We operate with a small company mind-set and all on the team strive to do what is needed to ensure our part is done, while learning ways to take burdens off others in the company who have lots on their plate.
- Be on time and reliable.
- Learn from your mistakes and feedback.
- Be willing to do general cleaning in the office areas, if asked.
- Come to work with a professional, positive, and can-do attitude.
- A willingness to embrace and live the core values of Network Innovations.
Skills
- Commercial maritime experience highly (preferred)
- Marine electrical/electronic experience (preferred)
Working conditions and Physical requirements:
- Standard Office working conditions and ability to perform general office duties are required.
- Ability to drive a vehicle every day.
- Be able to lift wire spools, which may be up to 70 lbs. and are sometimes awkward.
