Inside Sales Representative

Job Purpose

We are seeking an ambitious, customer oriented, Inside Sales Representative, to support our multi-national customers throughout the sales process. The successful candidate will prepare quotations and maintain daily telephone contact with the customer. In addition, this role will be responsible to ensure the correct follow-up actions, contract extensions, and data recording in the CRM system. This role will work closely with other Departments of the company as needed and may be required to make in-person visits to customer locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all company products and services, including their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Conduct in-depth product discussions with customers and provide tailored recommendations based on their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Review and validate customer-provided information on Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete order entry processes and maintain accurate records of sales opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and resolve any issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments to communicate requirements and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance customer service and sales performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to provide insights and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Devise and implement marketing campaigns in partnership with the corporate marketing team.

Qualifications

  • MBO work or thinking level.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales, customer service, or a related role, preferably in a technical or B2B environment.
  • Experience with customer contracts and purchase orders.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (MS Dynamics) preferred, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and build relationships. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
  • Experience with European government procurement cycles, knowledge of the satellite communications industry, and or MoD will be considered a strong asset.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexible and eager to learn (especially on a technical level).
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A willingness to embrace and live the core values of Network Innovations.

Working conditions

This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Standard office hours are 8am to 5pm, however, work outside of regular office hours. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and software.

Physical requirements

Sitting and using a computer for extended periods of time.
