Job Purpose
Network Innovations is seeking a highly strategic, results-driven, and entrepreneurial Vice President of Sales to lead and expand our market presence. Reporting directly to the President, Americas, this Executive role is pivotal in driving aggressive revenue growth by specifically focusing on and developing our sales strategies within the Oil & Gas, Utilities, and First Responder market verticals. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams, developing robust sales strategies for Satellite Telecom Technology solutions, and successfully penetrating and expanding market share within these specialized and critical industries. - Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate and expand market share within the Oil & Gas, Utilities, and First Responder verticals. Identify new business opportunities, set ambitious sales targets, and drive the team to consistently exceed revenue goals.
- Drive high-level business development, securing strategic partnerships and key accounts. Cultivate strong relationships with senior decision-makers, understanding their needs, and overseeing the development of compelling proposals and contracts.
- Oversee pipeline management, sales forecasting, CRM optimization, and reporting. Leverage data to monitor performance, identify improvements, and ensure effective use of sales technology.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis within target verticals. Provide critical market insights to the executive, product development, and marketing teams to ensure competitive and relevant offerings.
- Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Technical Service, Product Development and Marketing to ensure seamless service delivery, align offerings with market demands, and represent the voice of the customer within the executive team.
- Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing revenue.
- Proactively explore new markets and business segments for diversification. Stay informed about market trends, adapt sales approaches, and represent the company at key industry events.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the America's sales team (Account Managers and Account Executives). Partner with HR to recruit, coach, and foster a high-performing, accountable, and customer-focused sales culture, optimizing training and incentive structures.
- Meet specified annual targets, leverage reseller relationships, and complete other duties as assigned by the President.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the Telecom or Technology industry, with a proven track record of significant revenue growth and market penetration.
- Strong understanding of complex sales cycles, strategic account management, and consultative selling methodologies.
- Expertise in managing sales budgets, forecasts, and compensation plans.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Proven ability to build, motivate, and manage high-performing sales teams.
- Extensive knowledge of and a broad network of contacts within the Oil & Gas, Utilities, and First Responder industries in the United States.
- Demonstrated success in executing large, complex sales strategies and tactics within the American Telecom market.
- Ability to travel domestically 25-50% of the year and possess a valid passport without restrictions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Working conditions
Standard office hours are 8am to 5pm, however, work outside of regular office hours and travel will be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and software.

- The ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk while working on a computer or reviewing documents.
- The ability to use hands to handle and control a keyboard and mouse.
- The ability to understand and communicate clearly with others through speaking, listening, or writing
