Inside Sales Representative

Job Purpose

The Inside Sales Representative role is responsible for managing inbound leads, supporting assigned existing accounts, and generating new business opportunities. You'll work closely with our clients to identify solutions that meet their needs while driving growth within your account base. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for technology and customer engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and CRM systems
  • Nurture and grow revenue from an assigned portfolio of existing accounts through upselling, renewals, and product expansion
  • Qualify leads, understand customer needs, and recommend appropriate telecom solutions
  • Generate quotes, prepare proposals, and follow up on sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pipeline activity in CRM
  • Collaborate with Sales Support, Account Managers, and technical teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
  • Educate clients on service plans, pricing and value-added features
  • Support customer renewals and upsell additional services when applicable

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in inside sales or customer-facing roles, with a strong preference for experience within the telecommunications industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing), coupled with a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
  • Demonstrated strength in interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proficiency in CRM systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of telecommunications products and services (voice, data, satellite, wireless).
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities, adapting quickly, and approaching challenges with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude, aligning with Network Innovations' core values.
  • Fluency in Spanish is an asset.

Working Conditions

This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Standard office hours are 8am to 5pm, however, work outside of regular office hours and travel domestically and internationally will be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and software.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting and using a computer for extended periods of time.
  • An ability to travel extensively and potentially on a global basis.
