Senior Accountant
Job Purpose
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations for our key legal entities at Network Innovations. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager for the Americas, you’ll do more than just ensure compliance—you’ll be a process innovator, collaborating across teams to optimize our financial health and support our next phase of growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of all accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions.
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Review and maintain general ledger accounts and prepare reconciling entries as needed.
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other requested documents.
- Work in conjunction with Central Finance to ensure compliance with local, state, provincial, and federal government requirements.
- Protect the organization’s value by keeping all financial information strictly confidential.
- Provide leadership and training to junior accountants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
- 4+ years of related accounting experience, preferably within a multi-national or cross-cultural organization.
- Professional designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to solve problems across functional teams.
- Resilient and adaptable professional who excels in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple, complex, and detailed projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions
This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Standard office hours are 8am to 5pm, however, work outside of regular office hours and occasional travel will be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and software.
Physical Requirements
- The ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk while working on a computer or reviewing documents.
- The ability to use hands to manage and control a keyboard and mouse.
- The ability to understand and communicate clearly with others through speaking, listening, or writing.
- The ability to move around the office to attend meetings or retrieve documents.
